Abuja, May 5th 2019. The Minister for Aviation, His Excellency Hadi Sirika, officially commissioned the 8 MW Power Plant at the Abuja International Airport.

The 8 MW Power Plant that was built and is operated by Jampur, delivers uninterrupted power to the new International terminal and the airport operations. Chairman of Jampur Group, Mr. Mohammad Shafiq commented: 'We are proud to perform such a critical function for the Nigerian Airports. We are committed to supply reliable power 24 hours per day'.

The Power Plant consists of 8 containerised MTU generators of 1 MW each.
